Christ the King and His Sacred Heart is a documentary film that was produced originally in Spanish, to mark the 100th anniversary of the proclamation of the feast of Christ the King and Pope Pius XI’s encyclical letter Quas primas. This October we commemorate the 100th anniversary of the first celebration of the Feast of Christ the King, which was on October, 31 1926. In preparation for it, HM Television is happy to present the documentary in English.

Throughout the documentary, we will explore the biblical roots and theological foundations of Christ’s kingship. We will learn about the close connection between Christ the King and the Heart of Jesus. We will discover how to allow Christ to reign in our lives and explore the obstacles that prevent His lordship over our souls. Through dramatized scenes, we will learn the story of Blessed Sister Mary of the Divine Heart, a Sister of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd and emissary of Christ the King.
